Appreciation Event for our Volunteers, Donors and Sponsors

On Sunday 06/26 we held our first Appreciation Event for our CG Volunteers and Sponsors. Extra BIG thanks for your hands, hearts, and gifts. Thank you Debbie Butts for our brief, but enlightening plant walk. More thanks to the local businesses that donated the dinner selections. This space is a very special community asset and we are so proud of everyone that participates in supporting it. We shared some "wish list" special projects and unveiled the plan for the CG signage.

And remember, Everyone is welcome in the Garden.

Garden TOAD HABITAT Workshop - June 11, 2016

Once again, our Sharon Spires brought her "A" game and led us on a great adventure as we created Toad Houses from raw clay. Enjoy the photos of everyone that attended and take a close look at the adorable creations. There will be some very lucky toads moving into these custom homes!

Community Volunteer Day May 21, 2016

New friends, old friends, gardener friends, all became dirty friends today! What a successful VOLUNTEER DAY today! So much was accomplished. THANK YOU all for your help. We started at 8 A.M. and here's what we did: transplanted facahatchee grass and coreopsis, weeded (oh, so many weeds), removed rotten timbers and yanked out all their hardware, dismantled stacking garden, installed bluebird houses, finished building another garden bed, gave a hair-cut to some vinery vines, mulched more area, drank lots of water, and had some laughs!

Stepping Stone Workshop, April 30, 2016

What a fun morning! Such creative minds ....both young and old playing in the concrete wirh all the doodads.I have a feeling some will end up in their garden beds for display and others will be a wonderful surprise for some Mom's for Mother's Day this year.

"GARDEN RHYTHM'S"

Everyone enjoyed a woderful meal in the gardens while listening to live acoustic music. And then at 6:00 we created rhythm in the garden with a drum circle that was led by Branson and Diane Munton,

“It is always fun to drum and when the rhythm gets revved up and your feet start to move on their own and your hands can't keep still... well everyone wants to be a part of that”.
